He probably was, that team wasn't an ideal situation for Spalding. Ask a college coach who the better player is.

Okay. I respectfully disagree and I think Drew is an exceptional player who would be very deserving of the award if he won it. I also think the Spalding and Justice Mr. Basketball train has left the building and it will be on either of them to derail it. I think James Bolden, who is a WVU commit, will be right behind them.

What numbers are you doubting? He avg 11 rebounds, around 3 assists and 3 blocks. He also averaged 13 points. That's only 10 more points and 5 more rebounds, you don't think he can do that in szabos offense?

Levitch and Stafford looking to improve their scholarship offers. Szabo looking to focus on defense. Plenty of games where Trinity has a sizable lead when Raymond won't be playing. Occasional foul trouble.

Last year, yes I totally agree with that. He also had trey ivory on the team who shot the ball essentially anytime he saw fit, regardless if it was within the flow of the game or not. What I think you're missing with Spalding though is his impact far beyond scoring points. Also will justice do more than score points?

I don't know if its worth note or not, but Trinity is ranked in the top 25 of 3 media outlets that MAXPREPS uses for their composite ranking. This maybe should be in the bcs thread.

I voted for Spalding because I think his individual success will be the reason T wins the whole thing.

He'd been chosen afterwards also. And Jackson Davis was behind him and Kelan Martin was behind him. Those were your three best players in high school last year. Without question.

It will be close but Justice will beat out Spalding.
