Holmes will not beat NCC... I disagree

Totally agree..

Totally agree..

I think you would be better served to use the quote option buddy.

Question to those saying McDonald's skill set is better. What part of his game is better than Ray's? Shooting? Dribbling? Passing? Court vision? Ability to push the floor? Defense?

Shooting - Check (Both solid shooters but I give consistency to Drew)

Passing - Check Check (Goes along with the next one)

Court Vision/IQ - Check Check (Drew sees the floor as good as most PG)

Ability to push the floor - Both do in a different way. Ray is quicker and handles the ball better, but both are guys who run the floor well in fast breaks.

Defensive - Again different. Ray is longer but Drew is stronger. Ray's affect on a game will keep guys from driving the lane where as Drew continue to bang.

Based on my checks its 5 checks, and two draws. :)

My opinion only.

Mr Tiger

Can we agree they are both contenders? IMO both are capable of very nice stat lines and do way more than stats show.

Again, IMO, Ray is the favorite to win, however there are several that should be considered.

I know you want everyone to tell you how great Ray is and most are doing that. Just because people point out parts of his game that need work doesn't mean he is not a tremendous player.

Ray has more potential than anyone in the state.

Personally I would score the following:

Shooting - McDonald

Defense - Spaulding (Best in the State IMO)

Court Vision - McDonald - not sure it's as. Lose as you think.

Push the court - Push - both have the ability to grab a rebound and lead a break or outlet it to start the break.

Motor - McDonald

Potential - Spaulding and it's not close

Great Teammates - Push

These are my opinions and I look forward to you telling me I'm wrong. IMO opinion McDonald just gets it done night in and night out.

To you and feeling good. I can't tell someone there wrong because of their opinion, I can only disagree with it. Just because I think my guy is better doesn't mean I dont think McDonald isn't good as well. I think people are misconstruing my sentiments. Also if u read my post along with all the other scouters/recruiters etc, I've mentioned multiple times consistency is ray's biggest problem. But it is an area he is getting better in.

Drew shoots 3's, I'm asking because I'm ignorant to his whole game. Maybe you haven't seen ray play if you don't say he see's the floor as most guards do( ask Walter). Explain the drew continue to bang please.

Also for the record, I don't think he is great. He has all the tools to be great but great players are consistent. Something he is not right now. He is always consistent on the defensive end but offensively not so much.

Just a suggestion..How about putting debate to bed, it's only Dec...Let the folks that have the voting power decide in Feb..............

On this point I'm in full agreement. I'm not sure either one of them love basketball all that much, but I'm making that observation strictly on watching them both play in person several times, not on any inside knowledge of the kids. Maybe I'm dead wrong, and honestly, I hope I am.

A.T., I respect the heck out of your loyalty and support of your guy, and I know that each and every post about Ray that is even remotely critical must be a like a flame to you (poor moth analogy, work with me). He is lucky to have you in his corner.

It's exhausting, ain't it?

If you are ignorant to McDonalds game, how are you arguing.

The same way they are.

At this point I'm rooting for Cam Justice just to see the fallout.
