Yes Towles released a few passes too soon today to check off receivers , but overall the play calling was a total disaster . Towles was 2-4 for 2 yards with a minute to go in the first half . 4 pass attempts .

I talked to my buddy who went to Mizzu. He said they felt extremely disrespected by UK and the media predicting UK to win at Mizzu. Mizzu destroyed Florida in the swamp, somehow all week people forgot about that.

The honeymoon phase with Neal Brown is over. I know he played at UK and put up big numbers at Texas Tech, but it seems he isn't a good game planner. It's almost like he is holding something back or scared to pull out the entire playbook. Today it was like he was scared to have Towles throw for more than 5 yards down field. He must have forgot he threw for 390 last week. I understand wanting to get the running game going but running for it on a 3rd and 8 and a QB draw on a 4th and 2 is bad.

Mizzou's D is not MissSt D. I think Mizzou is #2 in the SEC and MissSt is down towards the bottom so let's not say "well, last week...."

 

Pass rush was a huge issue for the o-line.
