Yeah this is going to be a fun one. Never get to see many of the NKY folks around. Total coincidence that I was already going to be in Cincinnati that weekend and can make a quick trip across the river for a few hours.

Hospitals make you sick....no lie.

 

Not too thrilled to say that I found out the hard way. Thankful they eventually figured out the remedy. A bit freaked that it was almost overlooked. Not too happy that I had to plead to get someone to take notice.

 

Taking nothing away from some very wonderful nurses, there are some who are either burnt out or cannot handle the pressure, and should immediately change careers.

 

The job is so high pressure and it's amazing that they're not all driven to insanity. So often there are too many hands in the broth that spoil the pot. So often things get lost in translation and you really have to be an advocate for yourself even when certain nurses don't want to hear the true facts you desperately need to tell them because it conflicts with their understanding of the report they just got on you, and you're made to feel as if you're wasting their time with the facts.

 

I thought that I was in the Twilight Zone and had to forever stay on the ball or else.

 

These nurses are overworked and the good ones should be paid double than what they're being paid.
