Just got settled back home and so thankful to be here. Home sweet home. Doing very well and my surgeon says that I will NOT need chemo!!! ...She still wants me to follow up with an oncologist, my primary, and her in the next couple of weeks.

 

They discovered just yesterday that they weren't treating my Urinary Tract Infection since Saturday with a strong enough antibiotic, and although it was sorta taming it, it was not gonna do the trick as they discovered through further analysis that it was a form of E coli :scared: probably contracted from the catheter. :eek:

 

I never did feel that taking a leak was ever feeling normal yet, and that was why. Freaked me out, but am thankful that they sent me home with the correct medicine.

I just know that you're all gonna have a blast at the party, and I so wish that I could be there.

Thankfully they found it early, so from what everybody tells me this is all very doable.

 

I encourage everyone to get their colonoscopy, and don't put it off. It's really not that bad.

 

When you turn 50, do it.

 

If you have a family history, do it sooner than that.

 

These days since the surgery have been rough, but they're doable as well, and I don't even want to think what it would've been like if I had waited.

 

So don't wait people. It's amazing what modern medicine can do these days to save your life.

I was wondering about you, B-Ball-fan. Now just saw this. Keep us posted. I'll be praying to hear the "all clear" news and no further treatment. Just keep hanging out here on BGP to keep your mind off of it all.
