Any idea when tickets go on sale @ Highlands? With this being Senior night as well the requests for tickets is growing by the day.

Probably not much different than last year. I'm hoping the team from KY wins, but think Elder will closely.

Did the Elder/HHS game back in 2012 sell out?

I expect a game in the 30's for each team.

Just a couple of days until this annual titanic battle and all is very quiet in both Ft Thomas and Price Hill...

 

I would expect nothing less than another great game between these two storied programs and look for a huge crowd. With this being Sr night, Highlands will be looking to help spoil Elders chances for a playoff bid and finish their regular season home game with a WIN...:thumb:

If HHS defense controls the QB running (either via designed draws OR once protection breaks down on passes), the game will be close. Fail to do so and Elder simply converts too many possessions into TDs. HHS will have to work for every possession to convert it into points. Cannot give away any possessions to Elder.

 

For the same reasons, as always, penalties, turnovers & special teams will be critical. Defensive penalties can keep possessions alive and offensive penalties can stop a possession by creating tough down & distance.

 

Should be a good one.

I agree with this. My gut feels like it will be a great game. However, I think Elder has more room for error than the Birds. If Elder has some issues, they can still keep it close and win. If the Birds have too many issues, it could turn ugly on them. Just my opinion.
