I think Jimbo was bailed out. They last series they had the ball he played not to lose and it almost bit him in the rear.

 

Agreed, awful play calls. They were moving it all night throwing the ball. He was trying to run out the clock with 5 minutes left.

All Jameis does is win.

I would not be shocked to see them stay where they were or drop just one slot.

If you want to know just how fed up people are with Jameis, Jimbo, and the Tallahassee PD just look at how many fans were rooting for ND last night.

Bad call if it was on 20. Good call if it was on 7.

 

Jameis may not finish the season so not sure where FSU will end up. Not sure where ND ends up either but I still think this 4 team playoff is going to be very difficult on fans because I envision a disaster trying to determine the 4 teams.

The call was what it was, not going to complain. I will say regardless of the score no one will convince me that FSU is the better team.

While looking at just the stats I would agree with what your saying.

 

I never thought FSU wasn't going to win the game. ND seemed to play better but FSU made the plays that had to be made. ND played about as well as they have all season and lost, FSU played a decent game and won.

 

If they played again next week, I think FSU finds a way to win again...maybe easier if they play a little better.

IMO they'll still be in top 6 and with the top of the SEC eating themselves here on out, ND will be in final 4 if they win out.

Probably the best college football game that I have watched this season. Great game, I was pulling for ND but FSU made the plays. I cannot stand the "entitlement thug" that wears #5 for FSU but I will say that he delivers when it counts, his 2nd half was exceptional.

After watching the game again today I have to give some credit to Jimbo. When he went no Huddle it changed the game and kept ND defense off balance most of the half.

 

I stand behing my earlier comment Jimbo messed up trying to run the clock out. I think he should have done that but kep it from the spread attack. Once he went under center ND was selling out.

 

The Penalty - It was the correct call. It could have been called on either player. Yes Kelly does practice plays against the rules. - I think every coach runs some pick routes. Typically this call isnt made - with saying that the officials get it wrong 98% of the time for not calling it.

 

It was a great game hats of to ND they are better than what they have shown last couple of weeks.

I don't like the call on the goal line. The man at the point of the bunch was pressed by the defender, so I don't know what anyone expects them to do. FSU picked themselves.

 

All in all I hate anyone benefiting from poor coverage. They manned up, but you had better be able to zone off in your man defense vs. compressed formations on the goal line. I am never for rewarding a blown play, even though I don't know that the call should have been made either way. If the defender has his hands on, and is the first to put his hands on I don't know how it could be a "pick".
