October 13, 201412 yr Peanut butter is my favorite but the Silver Diner in Merrifield, VA, has a Nutella-banana shake that is a close second.
October 13, 201412 yr Normally chocolate is my favorite but years ago when I worked at Ehrler's, from Thanksgiving to New Years, we would sell Egg Nog shakes, those were so dang good.
October 13, 201412 yr rjs beat me to the punch, but my favorite BY FAR is a butterscotch shake or, even better, a butterscotch malt.
October 13, 201412 yr Thick Chocolate malted from UDF. When I was a kid the best was UDF, Willow Run. When I was a kid, I used to ride my bike or walk down to the one by Dixie almost weekly to get a chocolate malt. I wish I could still drink those things.
October 13, 201412 yr Reece (peanut butter and chocolate) or just peanut butter. Also, I love taking a peanut butter shake from DQ, and mixing it half and half with a mocha moolatte. Peanut butter, chocolate, and coffee mixed....YUM!
October 13, 201412 yr Anyone got a particular favorite? Mine would have to be peanut butter After Strawberry (with chunks of strawberry) and Chocolate...Peanut-butter is probably #3 Sonic's Peanut-butter shake is great! Peanut Butter PB Shake from Silver Grove Dairy Bar is where it's at.
October 13, 201412 yr When I was a kid, I used to ride my bike or walk down to the one by Dixie almost weekly to get a chocolate malt. I wish I could still drink those things. I sure wish I could too, and if I break my low sugar rules I have to settle for a small, and that's pushing it. :(

October 15, 201411 yr Huge shake fan. I'll take anything UDF, but my fav is Butterscotch. You can get it with white or chocolate milk. Either is exceptional, if you like butterschotch. Chocolate and cherry run a close second and third. Greater's shakes are well done. That's still a nice treat. I do miss the old Rax blueberry shakes. That was good stuff. Heck, I miss Rax altogether. Mustang makes a good point. Someone smarter than me should have already posted a YouTube link to Vince Vega talking about a $5 milk shake.
October 15, 201411 yr Giant chocolate malt from UDF! I agree their peach is good to but I mainly stay with chocolate. I like Graeters as well, but I love the ones I get at Sweet Tooth, it's just difficult there as I usually end up also buying an orange ice ball with ice cream. My all time favorite is Mel's out on LA, I would always go to the one on the Sunset Strip. Best malts I have ever tasted! I now have issues with more than just a little milk, but that is easily solved.
