I would say none since everyone gets a flu shot.
Not everyone. There are a lot of conspiracy idiots out there. :lol2::lol2:

Yeah there are and I AM ONE OF THEM.

In the words of Aaron Rodgers...

"relax".

Well, I guess that's technically just one word.

Yeah there are and I AM ONE OF THEM.

C'mon mountain ref. Why do you think I posted that? I'm old, but my memory isn't that bad yet.

The great thing about conspiracy theories is that they don't have to be true. A conspiracy theorist always has a perfect record, because they never say that something WILL happen, just that it could, or they don't list degrees of an event, so if an portion of what they say could happen does, then they are "proven" right. It's a very good spot to be in. You can line up and point out their last 100 misses and they are still right, because they only point out what "could" happen or simply ask questions which point to something happening, without saying that it will happen.

However, they don't like that you point this out to them. :lol2:

So much for superior hospital care. Maybe the CDC is afraid to tell the truth about how widespread this is about to get. especially since the nurse in Spain took every precaution. MUST BE AIRBORNE NOW.

Thomas Duncan, the Texas Ebola patient, has died - The Washington Post

We do have superior hospital care. People still die in the US from all kinds of diseases. Ebola is one of the nastiest viruses on earth. Is it that shocking that when people still die of complications to the influenza virus in the United States (much less the human immunodeficiency virus), that someone might still die from a virus that generally takes less than less than 3 weeks to kill its host and has proven, thus far, to be 90% fatal...even if they're in the United States?

And what in the world proves that it's airborne now? Are those findings coming out of the virology labs at the mountain ref university medical center?

In other news, people are still dying in the United States from esophageal and pancreatic cancer. I hear the scientists at mrumc are suspecting that those have gone airborne as well.

They are injecting the virus into people when they give them the flu shots. It's the best way Obama can kill the white people. Can't you keep you up CWB?

Incorrect.

90% fatal IN AFRICA.

^^^ If you catch it early enough, Ebola can be contained with fluid resuscitation, antibiotics, ventilator support, blood transfusions etc. and the patient will have about a 50% chance of survival.

In all seriousness, there is simply no reason to panic or worry. I know some media outlets will drive the panic, you'd be best to just ignore them.

Worded incorrectly on my part. Should have said, "Is it that shocking people are dying of ebola, even in the United States, when people in the United States still die of complications to the influenza virus and the human immunodeficiency virus. Is it that shocking that that someone might still die in the United States from a virus that generally takes less than less than 3 weeks to kill its host and has proven, thus far, to be 90% fatal elsewhere?"/

And just for the record, your referenced 50% chance of survival is based on an incredibly small study sample. There have been two doctors, an aid worker and a missionary who were all diagnosed with ebola in Africa and were brought back to the US for treatment. I believe they have all survived thus far. Then there is Thomas Duncan, who traveled to Dallas from Liberia where he was diagnosed on 09/30 and died 8 days later. That's a total of 6 cases that have even been treated in the US, versus thousands in Africa.

And this is why you are awesome. :lol2:

I'm just stating the facts my man. World Health Organization told me so.

"We" meaning everyone who's ever read anything about Ebola.

Doctors seem to think a certain way about how it's spread as well.

Could new information come to light? Of course. But this fearmongering based on speculation is complete insanity. Everyone needs to calm the heck down. mountainref's declaration that it "MUST BE AIRBORNE NOW" is based not in reality, but in fear.

I'm not ready to panic yet... But I think it would be better to err on the side of caution than to, as Obama puts it, underestimate the enemy... This is not a JV team type virus..
