Cajun Catfish is delicious. I always get fried green tomatoes for a side.

Dialed in BBJ and was thinking the same thing...can I get a cold beer with this meal?

Yup. I always enjoyed sitting out on the patio. Should be nice this time of year.

Goodfellas for pizza

For late night, burger Tally Ho's

stopped in Malone's last night after a great day at Keeneland. Fantastic steak! It's not Ruby's, but it's not Longhorn's either.

Thumbs up on Ramsey's....the fried cajun catfish was outstanding. Sides were okra, yellow squash/onions, and some very good cornbread. Went with a local craft brew, West 6th Amber Ale, which was very, very nice!

Thanks for the Ramsey's recommendations, my family will be returning for future visits. :thumb:

Next time you go get some pie.

I had a Hot Brown pizza at Parlay Social Friday night. It was exceptional.

They also has Jim Beam Jacob's Ghost mules that night. They were also exceptional.

Ms. Slick taking me to eat in Lexington for my birthday. Her kids will be with us so I don't want too upscale. I was thinking maybe some ribs or brisket, any recommendations?

What about Mt. Sterling?

Years ago I would have recommended Hall's on the river off of 627, near Fort Boonesboro. I haven't been there in 6-7 years though and a quick glance of recent reviews tells me its not what it used to be.

This brings back some memories of my lost years at UK. Joe B's is good, so it the Tally Ho! Give me a big Ho to go! Where else can you pay for a pitcher of beer with a check. Richie's had some great take out chicken wings. I do miss Brookings chili cheese burgers.

Ramsey's is never a bad choice.

I'm in lexington this morning with my parents and thinking of Ramseys for lunch. Looks like they have 4 locations. Is one better than the others or all the same?

I've always been partial to the one on Tates Creek.
