December 17, 201411 yr Another good choice for a place to eat in Lexington is Winchell's on Southland Drive. I can vouch for Winchell's, great pork chops. I usually went to the Ramsey's off Nicholasville Rd, by the Burger King.
December 18, 201411 yr Village Host, on Old East Vine Street, is my favorite pizza in town. I am also very partial to Joe Bologna's. It's been great for about 40 years. UPDATE: Village Host is now closed. So much for my best pizza in town tout.

May 3, 201511 yr Stopped down in Lexington to see my girl this afternoon. She likes sushi, so we went to Blue Reef Sushi off of South Broadway. Really good. When leaving we saw Gumbo Ya Ya across the way and went and got a carryout. Excellent.
