Probably something outside where I didn't have to deal with a lot of people. Ideally I'd live out West somewhere. Maybe I'd be a cropduster. I'd keep the plane in a barn and make a nice little grass strip on my land. Work in the mornings, come home and sit on the porch and enjoy the view with a beer and a book. Maybe go down to the Red Pony and hang out with my pal Walt Longmire.

I'm in this boat right now. After 22 years of managing my dad's restaurant business,I've been forced to draw a unemployment

check. Unfortunately a few weeks ago we had to close up shop after a long successful run. In about 3 weeks I should be starting at a CDL

truck driving school.

 

I've recently be doing a lot of research on the trucking industry,and there is something about it that just feels right.

I will be attending Lake Cumberland CDL Training School, Inc. The school last 4 weeks.

When I earn my CDL class A license I should get hired on pretty quickly with a big company.

 

When I start working I will be out on the road training with a trainer for at least 2-3 months.

Once my training is completed I will then go over the road on my own.

Over the next year or two I will have to drive as much as I can for experience.

 

Starting a whole new career approaching 50 is kind of scary,but at the same time I'm feeling

pretty excited...All I can say is wish me luck guys/gals and God is Good...

When I was much younger I thought that working on a boat (Crounse is a local company) three weeks on and three weeks off would be a great gig.

This.. Work 9 months a year with in-service days.

 

It's ten months. The hours during those ten suck though. But no doubt, I enjoy summer and Christmas, fall, and spring breaks. Sweet gig. Won't make my millions though.

I'd either go into politics or broadcast journalism. It would be one of those two. Probably politics though.

And this is a serious question. So, let's leave Victoria Secret model out of this one.

I was going to get into real estate, but then a family member had serious health issues at the time, and by the end of it there was a huge collapse in the market. I guess if I could I would go into that, if the market was decent.

Owning/running a bar would be second on my list. It'd be a lot of work but a lot of fun. But, that's an industry fraught with failure, and a lot of it can be outside of your control.
