Our daughter (our middle child) and her husband are both veterinarians, so I can live vicariously through them. She chose the cats and dogs after working a couple of years in the equine industry. The business end of the equine can be really tough to take at times. His passion is bovine.

I would like to run a website where people talk sports all day, and other topics if they want. I would just sit there all day in my underwear in front of the computer with some bourbon and count the dollars every time my site gets a hit.

I always thought it would be so hard to defend someone I knew was guilty.

Excellent answer. I think I'd get sea sick though. But, it did lead me to a few ideas:

 

1. Golf pro someplace on the coast, I'd only have to improve my game slightly.

 

2. Run a umbrella rental place on the beach.

 

3. run a bike/scooter/sea doo rental place on the beach. You get the picture.

 

About any occupation that would require me to live on a coast/beach would be something I'd likely be good with.

I think I would honestly enjoy it more than project management or estimating.

I know it is brutal hours but I don't mind that if I am doing something I like. I would love to design dishes, set menus, and cook enjoyable dishes people like. I would need lots of training, like any vocation, but it is something I would like to have tried.

It's ten months. The hours during those ten suck though. But no doubt, I enjoy summer and Christmas, fall, and spring breaks. Sweet gig. Won't make my millions though.

I only had three weeks off this summer.

I could not imagine doing anything besides what I do. Teaching is my passion.

 

But if I had to choose something besides chemistry/physics/astronomy teacher I guess that it would be...history teacher.

I believe John Anthony lives in the Indian Hill school district in Cincy, in which case there would be a GREAT amount of difference from the districts in Kentucky where Thrillville and you are. Cincinnati/OH district pay versus Kentucky pay is much different.
