Thin. I seldom get thin because I yield to the wife who likes thick, and the reason she married me, obviously.

And by thick, you mean headed.

Indeed.

I like both, but one thing I really miss, and haven't been able to find out here is sicilian style pizza. Typically square in shape, and the crust is usually around 1"thick....not thin, but not as thick as true chicago style pizza.

Like others depends on the mood; I can handle either.

I kinda like the thicker crust if its crispier and not doughy.

For NKY folks, there used to be a pizza place in the shops of Florence where Shakeys is now. Used to love their pizza when I was a kid.

The Strong's thread made me wonder.

Thin crust every time for me. If I want bread, I'll order bread or breadsticks.

Depends on the restaraunt. Larosas is always thin, the best pizza around and their thin crust is awesome!

Pizza Hut has to be pan pizza.

There is a place in my life for both.

Bearno's and Papalino's are thin and I love them.

Wick's and Impellizeri's are thicker and I love them.

Are these places in Louisville? Any recommendations for pizza in the 'ville appreciated.

All of them are in Louisville and all of them are in my neighborhood. They're my primary pizza destinations. Very rare I have pizza from anywhere else... probably once per year.

Impellizeri's is FANTASTIC. That's probably my favorite pizza in Louisville. There are three around town. Hand-tossed crust overflowing with tons of toppings (that's the Louisville style).

Papalino's in a New-York-style joint that sells primarily made-to-order slices.

Bearno's is a Louisville institution. There are several of them around the city. Thinner crust but also pretty well loaded up on the toppings.

Wick's has several locations as well. Probably most notable (at least in my mind) for never skimping on the cheese. Good heavens are those things loaded with cheese.

I don't have thick very often but when I do it's Giordano's in Chicago.

If you're ever in Lawrenceburg. There's a little place called Edwardo's. Their Chicago pie is very similar to Giordano's.

You think of that heavy, cracker-type crust from Bearno's as "thin?" Not really seeing that.

Compared to most other pizza? Sure.
