The robbery portion of the story isn't new. Brown's friend said Brown stole some Swisher Sweets.

 

What I hadn't heard before was the fact he physically intimidated the worker.

Man, my nieces and nephews are hard. One day it's chunking deuces and acting a fool with your juice boxes, the next day it's a triple homicide.

I wasn't going to post here anymore, but thought some people here might want to hear this. This is apparently a friend of the police officer who shot Michael Brown. She gives his version of what happened. I'll post part of the transcript as well from another site.

“He pulled up ahead of them. And then he got a call-in that there was a strong-arm robbery. And, they gave a description. And, he’s looking at them and they got something in their hands and it looks like it could be what, you know those cigars or whatever. So he goes in reverse back to them. Tries to get out of his car. They slam his door shut violently. I think he said Michael did. And, then he opened the car again. He tried to get out. He stands up.

 

And then Michael just bum-rushes him and shoves him back into his car. Punches him in the face and them Darren grabs for his gun. Michael grabbed for the gun. At one point he got the gun entirely turned against his hip. And he shoves it away. And the gun goes off.

 

Well, then Michael takes off and gets to be about 35 feet away. And, Darren’s first protocol is to pursue. So, he stands up and yells, “Freeze!” Michael and his friend turn around. And Michael taunts him… And then all the sudden he just started bumrushing him. He just started coming at him full speed. And, so he just started shooting. And, he just kept coming. And, so he really thinks he was on something.”

I am not being critical, I just found something odd with this. I do not know police protocol. The young man laid in the street for at least 3 minutes and 20 seconds with no police officer near the body. The life sqaud arrives, appears to take a pulse then leaves the body (at least I think it was the life squad or was it the coroner). Is it normal for the police to not be guarding the body? I really don't know. It appears he had been laying there a while because the tape was set up as a boundary and the police were protecting that. It just seemed odd to me. There may be and probably are reasons, I just am not aware of them.

I think in the case of a death they tape off a large area and stay away from the body as not to contaminate the scene until the investigators are done with their job.

It wasn't FOX NEWS it was a local Fox affiliate (like WDKY)...it was a local channel's report...but I get what your saying.

 

 

 

Here's another video of the incident. It sure doesn't look to me like they were "helping" the journalists. It looks like they were targeting the journalists--there's no protestors anywhere in the area that I can see. I'm calling the police blatant liars in this case.

Funny when the truth starts to come out about the real punk Mike Briwn was and video of him shoving the store owner etc. and the truth about the fight he had with the officer.

 

It may sound cold but I'm not losing any sleep over his death. Especially after the media releasing old pics of him to make him look like a saint.
