Where does "racists" fit into this?

Call it a hunch. Many of the victims are non-blacks in a predominately black city. Politicians believed that placing a black patrolman in charge of controlling the looters and rioters would appease them. Then there are all those "No justice, no peace" t-shirts.

 

There is more evidence of a racism factor in the rioting and looting than there is in the shooting of Michael Brown, which precipitated this crime wave.

How do you loot in a racist manner? Are you saying the businesses are being targeted because they are not owned by blacks? Looters loot without consideration of ownership.

How do you shoot somebody or knock them out in a racist manner? Racism is a state of mind that can often be inferred by the actions of criminal. Ferguson was a relatively peaceful town until charges of racism were leveled against an entire police department and race-baiters like Al Sharpton showed up on the scene.

Some very bad language and uncalled for language. Not once, but many times. If that is what her voters like then they get what they deserve. She should resign immediately for character unbecoming of a Senator.

I'm still shocked no one has jumped on this. If she was a republican the Dems would be calling for her head, literally. I guess everyone feels she is entitled to say it. I say she should resign for action unbecoming of a Person in office.

The Looting itself isn't racism, but the looters I'm sure are using racism as an excuse to do the looting.

 

What I'm saying is this. The media has automatically made the idea of this incident all about racism and because of that the looters in some sick way use that as an excuse for their bad behavior. It's there way of making a statement that because "The man" can kill an innocent (in their minds) black man then this has to be racism at its best and they will show them by showing they are bigger than the cops and it's because of the actions of the "white" racist cops that they can protest by looting.

Sad thing is, although I think most of us can agree that this killing wasn't a racist act, the media want to portray it as a racist act so they can further their agenda. Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton have ignored every white man who was killed by a black man for years and this year is no exception yet they are the first to make the black punks who were killed out to be martyrs

The "locals" were the people whose comments the media elected to air. The narrative was that a racist cop shot an unarmed black youngster just minding his own business and getting ready to go off to college. Anything that did not fit that story line did not make it past the editors into the early stories on the incident.
