Aaron Floyd's Waiver Denied

Featured Replies

If this kid were to try to go back to Boone County in order to be able to play football, by when would he need to do this?

The football side is purely a coach's decision. He can flirt with CCH all the way up to day one of school then walk into Boone County as a student.

Don't forget Covcath and Ncc.

PLEASE!!!! I've noticed most of your replies, your "schtick" is getting old.

This whole thing has become a complete fiasco. It's a shame no matter how it turns out now it will be a tough situation for the young man. Don't get me wrong I understand when you do something like this, you have to live with the consequences. I just wonder if those behind the decision realized the ramifications.

Can't see this turning out to be a positive outcome at this point.

If he ends up back at Boone, I don't think there will be any hard feelings. Aaron doesn't seem like the type of person that burns bridges and I'm sure he would be welcomed back. He has enough friends at Boone to make it nothing more but a bump in the road and would be back as if nothing happened. That's just my opinion.

I think you are wrong.

With that said, I told my son if it happens you welcome Aaron back with open arms.

It's gonna be a lose-lose situation for Aaron at this point. Only viable but difficult option is to cross the river George.

Definitely something the Floyd's need to consider if they need a Plan B.

Are you saying cross the river to Ohio? If that is what you are saying, that isn't an option. Ohio has an in state residency requirement.

Piece of cake.

There is a school across the Licking River that will welcome you with, as Steve Perry would say, "Open Arms". :lol2:

Piece of cake.

Maybe if there is someone in Ohio who could be guardian. Otherwise, they would have to move, just like in Kentucky, right?

I guess his aunt could move to Ohio.

Does Boones Coach let him back?

I guess his aunt could move to Ohio.

Or maybe already lives there and would love to have little Aaron live with her?

I get the point. So Ohio is easier than Kentucky because they don't look as closely at guardianship? Is that the bottom line?

I think you are wrong.

I very well could be wrong, you would have a much better feel about that than I would.

btw, how is your son doing? 100% healthy?
