July 8, 201412 yr It said I was a steadfast conservative, which doesn't surprise me. There were a couple of questions I really didn't want to answer because I thought the two options were too narrow. I skipped 4 or 5 that I thought were too narrow. I'm supposedly business conservative according to their quiz.:idunno:

July 9, 201412 yr I am the right axis of the chart. However, many of the questions are very leading and poorly worded. I hate polls that use the word "immigrants" with no qualifier. I strongly support legal immigration, provided that we are getting the best and brightest from around the world. I strongly oppose illegal invaders and support self-deportation through strict enforcement of our laws and a secure border. Polls that do not make that distinction are worthless, IMO. I assumed that the survey author meant illegal aliens and used "immigrants" as a politically correct euphemism and answered accordingly. I will be much more proud to be an American when the outlaws running our government are finally sent packing. I am ashamed of Obama, Biden, Pelosi, Boehner, Reid, and McConnell, along with scores of other Washington politicians. We can do so much better.

While overall supportive of an activist government, most are wary of expanding the social safety net. Most also have relatively positive views of Wall Street’s impact on the economy. While most affiliate with the Democratic Party or lean Democratic, few consider themselves strong Democrats.*Compare groups on key issues.
July 9, 201412 yr OK, I watched the video. Do you often feel proud to be an American? That one word can slant answers. Makes it sound like 'do you wake every day and sing the Star Spangled Banner'. I bet the numbers would be more expected if the actual question was 'Do you feel proud to be an American?'

But should we be in the business of administering IQ tests at the border? And I agree with the pervading sentiment that this was very much a "black and white with no shades of gray" test. Not gonna produce too many middle-of-the-road results.
July 9, 201412 yr Prob a better way to say it is " could we please stop accepting everyone " with no questions ask . There is a limit on how many immigrants we can take per year , that number is being far far exceeded . We as a nation need to let the tens of millions become legal citizens somehow or at least documented before accepting 100,00 undocumented children .
