June 23, 201412 yr I'm a sweets guy and love my dessert. I feel like my meal isn't complete if I don't have something sweet at the end. As for me, I LOVE pie...homemade pie. Some of the store bought stuff is ok, but some of it is down right nasty. Love me a good homemade chocolate, coconut crème (both with homemade sweet meringue), buttermilk chess, coconut chess. Ummmmm. And they all have to be warm, cooled just fresh out of the oven to eat. Big glass of skim milk...oh my gosh.
June 23, 201412 yr I am a cake addict. Cake for breakfast, lunch, dinner...whatever. But my grandmother's chocolate creme pie and banana creme pie cannot be topped for me.

June 23, 201412 yr I'm more of a pie fan. Chess, butterscotch, strawberry, blackberry, apple, cherry, pecan, derby pie are some of my favs. But I do like cake - German chocolate, coconut, strawberry shortcake, Italian cream cake.
June 23, 201412 yr I don't like sweets. Ok, I'm lying....the long answer :banana: I am a chocoholic, so chocolate pie would be my favorite or moist brownie or cake...heavy on the icing. To answer the question 9 out of 10 times I would prefer pie: chocolate (did I mention that already?), lemon, apple, peach, key lime, pecan......ad infinitum. I will make acceptions for carrot cake heavy on the icing, and my wife make a dump cake with cherries, pineapple which is extremely healthy :ohbrother:. I actually avoid desserts and sugar as much as I can because I can't have just a little once I start.
June 23, 201412 yr OK does Cheesecake count as a Pie or a Cake? I love it whatever it is...no exotic flavor just straight Cheesecake with graham cracker crust and maybe a strawberry on top.

June 23, 201412 yr Love pie, but it has to have whipped cream or eaten with ice cream. Cake can stand on its own. But ice cream makes cake better too......
