April 25, 201412 yr This debate is like talking to a wall, so I'm going to summarize my thoughts/beliefs and bow out of this one... -I own guns and will own more in the future. -I believe 100% that Americans should be allowed to own guns. -I also believe there will never come a time when guns are taken away from us. -Nowhere does it say what guns we are allowed to have, nor the number we are allowed to have. -I do not believe that restricting certain weapons is an infringement on our right to bear arms. -In general, many things people do in excess bother me. Guns are no different. Define excess? Would having 5 guns and 100 rounds of ammunition be considered "excess"? To Nancy Grace it would. HLN?s Nancy Grace Calls Zimmerman?s 5 Guns and 100 Rounds of Ammo a ?Disturbing, Shocking, Deadly Arsenal? To others, and probably some on here, myself included that wouldn't even raise an eyebrow. Herein lies the problem. Some people, and some people currently in positions of influence/power today, think we the people should be very very limited in what we should have as far as firearms are concerned, some even believing that we don't need them at all, and unfortunately that side of the argument seems to be getting a lot of play and momentum. You say there will never come a time when forearms are taken away from us. Well, we might not see it, but there very well could come a time not all that far down the road where that could be a very grave concern.

April 25, 201412 yr we need to enforce the laws on the books before we attempt to add more laws. I may even be in favor of some kind of psychological evaluation, but what about criminals who may steal the guns they have? How could they have nay gun they want but then a home owner is restricted to maybe a handgun? I do think that all people in Campbell County are nuts and don't need to have any weapon, and should surrender the weapons to those in Kenton County. I get first dibs on anything 556 NATO None of you Kentonians would pass a psychological evaluation.

One on your person, one in the car, two at home, and another for whatever reason. I only have one gun right now and I have 100 rounds for it, not including the rounds I have loaded. I highly doubt that anyone alive today will ever see guns completely taken away. I just don't see it happening, or even really coming close to happening.

I just receive a thousand rounds of .40 cal from UPS that I am going to store with the thousand rounds of .40 I bought a few months ago. I also have a box of 250 from Bass Pro I haven't shot yet and I think I have a box or two of Winchester White Box, one hundred rounds each along with the defensive rounds stored in he gun right now, the two spare mags and the high capacity magazine I have. So I am thinking I have a little over 2,500 rounds in total of .40 cal. I have about 150 rounds of .357 Magnum, about 50 rounds of .38 Spc (for the same revolver) and I have about a dozen 16 Gauge shot gun shells. I guess in Nancy Grace's view I am a raving lunatic who has an itchy trigger finger just waiting to go on the next shooting spree. The honest truth is, with the recent ammunition shortage and the price of ammunition, if I see a good price, I am going to buy 500 to 1,000 rounds at a time. If another shortage occurs, Mr. Bert will have surplus to carry him through it!
May 4, 201412 yr This is another issue where Republicans are putting agenda before country. It's evident that guns need to be regulated. 90% of people in America believe that guns need to be regulated.
