I generally tend to be an optimist in these situations. After all. 8 games is a very small sample size....

 

But I don't just look at that they are losing games, I look at how they are losing games that is discouraging... Lack of timely hitting... Bad baserunning.... Bad bullpen work... It does make me nervous...

Hopefully they will win their series against the Rays, who knows, maybe even sweep them. That would help get the monkey off their back a little.

They didn't add any bats, lost their best OBP guy from last year, and have a ton of injuries to pitchers. Tough to be optimistic right now.

It took the Wildcats 3/4 of the season to figure it out. I'll be worried in 2 months if they are still under 500.
