Not worried yet. We will see where they are come the end of May and then I may be worried.

No need to panic unless you actually thought this team would be any good.

It's the same team practically they had the last 5 years where they have struggled to have a consistent offense. This team will be lucky to finish above 3rd in the division.

And swing and a big ole miss (Not the school) ....

2009 - 11th in runs scored

2010 - 1st in runs scored

2011 - 2nd in runs scored

2012 - 9th in runs scored

2013 - 3rd in runs scored

Very misleading. The key word is consistent offense. They averaged 4.3 runs a game this weekend. That sounds and looks pretty good on paper.

Really good and insightful post. Yes, they have scored runs at a decent pace the past few years but their offense has been VERY inconsistent and has lacked in some very important ways....approach at the plate, hitting with runners in scoring position(in tight games), etc... All one needs to know is that they were third last year in runs scored and their hitting coach was fired. So, you are right, runs scored can be very deceptive.

I give 5 years worth of consistency and you use 11 games as your argument? Sure thing.
