Just announced it on College Game day as they were closing the show. He did to my surprise as did Jalen and Jay all picked the Cats. I for one will miss him on Game day surely to goodness they won't replace him with Bobby Knight.

This old story sums up my feelings about Digger.

 

In an NCAA presser once, Digger was going off on how Joe Hall wasn't there but Dickie Parsons was sitting in. It was right after rumors abounded that Seth Hancock had offered Bill Laimbeer a horse to come to KY.

 

Digger: "Hey, ask Joe where my Horse is? I want a horse too."

 

When hearing about it, Joe Hall said, "Tell Digger I can get him the front end of the horse, because he's already the back end."
