Ever had your heart broken?

This morning I attended my kid’s all school Friday Mass. I try to do this a couple of times per year bc there is nothing more therapeutic to me than listening to hundreds of kids’ voices lifted in song/prayer. Anyway, the responsorial psalm was “The Lord is close to the broken-hearted”. Couldn’t help but think of Wireman, and offer a prayer for him and all the broken-hearted among us. Hope you have a good weekend and keep turning toward the Cross. I absolutely know you will find strength and the truth there.

Thank you so much. About to hit the day up with my kids so hopefully this all can move to the back of my mind. Yesterday was a big win. I need to win today too.

Perhaps she has been watching Parent Trap, and she's wanting to see if you'll go after her.

Today was great...tonight, not so much. Once the kids turned in, I was in the dumps again.

Deep breaths, buddy. Deep breaths.

Well it's been over a week now. I'm still very sad about it but it's a different kind of sad. I still want to hold on to hope even though my gut tells me she's done and I'll never hear from her again. Sucks.

Well guys and gals...I finally got some truth tonight. And let's just say that my breakup was very much a blessing for me and my life is happy again. I appreciate all the chat on here about it and the kind words. I feel bad for her, especially now that I know everything. I dodged a bullet.

Glad to hear it buddy. Hopefully you can move on in peace now. :thumb:

Very much in peace and she deleted me on Facebook after I told her I knew everything so the prayers were answered. And it wasn't what I was praying for obviously, but God is very good and I've been blessed.

Ever had my heart broken? Yea I did about ten minutes ago.
