Two other thoughts...I should probably unfriend her on Facebokk but I just can't do it. A little part of me hopes I'll see that little red 1 beside her name with a message.

Also, I have prayed pretty much nonstop for a week now that the situation would change. But I'm getting nothing back. Is my prayer falling on deaf ears or is my answer not what I'm hoping?

"Unfollow" her on there... She can't see that you've done it, and you won't see her posts on your time line.

I'm not a religious guy by any means, but maybe the fact that you haven't gotten an answer, IS your answer. The things we want aren't always the things (or people) we need.

To speak to the second part first... at the risk of sounding cliche and hokey: the questions come on our time; the answers come on God's time. And I'll never forget something a priest once told me about asking God for something: God always has an answer, but we can never be sure if we're asking the right questions. Prayer is good. I've always found it helpful, even if not directly. But think about whether or not you're asking the right questions.

As for the first part... I've played that waiting game. It's horrible. And it only makes you feel worse every time you log in, take that breath... see nothing... and then exhale. Just awful. Nothing to do but wait until it stops; at least that's been my experience. Nothing's going to make you feel a whole lot better besides time.

You want the situation to change, and it will. But it takes time. Time heals.

Instead, pray that today will be easier for you than yesterday. Pray that your heart will mend. Pray for your job. Pray for your health. Pray for good friends all around you. Pray for your family.

Unfriend her on facebook and move on. And pray for help and strength to move on.

Wireman get together with some guys on Saturday watch

Final 4 hit up the casino just do something each day to get

it off your mind. I know the weather sucks today but find something

to get away from your own thoughts for a few hours.

Thanks I have my kiddos the rest of the week and we are going to Gatlinburg so that will help a great deal. The good news is that I've channelled all anger to the gym and that's going to help a lot too.

I just can't shake that sinking feeling though. I'm not sure she had any real idea of what she really had. I would have given all. The last thought is that I was really stupid to develop those feelings for a much younger girl. In hindsight I know this was probably a real blessing...even though that's hard to accept.

Do anything and everything you can to distract yourself. The gym sounds like it's not a bad thing. I'd try to do everything you can to keep yourself around other people who can talk to you - not necessarily about your breakup, but just something...anything to keep your mind off of it.

To be blunt, it's none of your business to be concerned about what she is thinking. That is hindering your healing.

Enjoy the time with your kids this weekend that will certainly help.

Not to make light of your situation but if you can find a St. Pattys

Day Party you might look up that blonde behind the dumpster in the

other thread.

I believe it was the poet Gucci Mane who so beautifully rapped it:

Now baby girl have dumped me

She no longer wants me

I'm no longer higher

She says that I've been fired

on to the next one

More fish in the sea

Girls are like buses

Miss one, next 15 one comin'
