How many free throws did Louisville miss?

How much did they lose by?

Free throws are huge; first half killed them.

It was; they definitely could have done something else even without a timeout. Either way, couldn't have seen them making it in overtime without Harrell and Van Treese.

OT could of been very interesting. I think UK had a few guys in foul trouble also and with the refs keeping their whistles in their. Outs, there very easily could have had a couple more players fouling out.

I knew as soon as Young came back in with over 6 mins left he wouldn't last long. On 3 consecutive possesions Louisville went right after hi. And he got his 5th pretty quick.

What a game ! I think that it's safe to say that U.K. has grown up. Down by 13 at one point, down by 7 with 4 minutes left and win by 5. U.L. did not give this game away - U.K. stepped up, made the plays and Won it. This team kept coming back time after time. First losing WCS hurt us bad, on D and the boards. Young fouls out as well, that was 2 key payers out with the bench not contributing that much as far as point production.

I thought that D. Johnson was key with his play both on the boards along with scoring some key buckets. The Harrisons certainly had their moments on defense, losing their man but overall had another good game. Julius Randle is a Beast...unbelievable how strong the man is, with U.L. players all over him, hanging on him, hacking him on every move and still gets on the boards and gets shots off. FT's were huge tonight. The Cats were draining them, U.L. missed more than usual I believe, not sure on how good their FT% was this season. As for U.L., I wasn't worried as much about Smith as I was #11 (can't think of his name now to save me) and him hitting threes and he was knocking them down in the 2nd half.

I Have to comment on R.P.s comments going in at half. Hey Rick....do you want some cheese to go with that "Whine" ? :( :lol2:

2-0 vs. U.L. this season, is safe to say that U.K. has the better team this season. With how I love putting it to the Cards/Pitno it is even better when the Wildcats were the team that knocked them out of the final 4 two years ago and gave them their NCAA exit this season. Yes, I am bragging a little.

Definitely thought they should have set up Hancock for last shot, and thought they got away from him some down the stretch.

Hit your freakin' FTs and none of it matters, though.

Bu ha ha. Way to keep fightin guys.

Free throws are huge; first half killed them.

FT's did kill them in the 1st half. At the same time UK missing shot after shot after shot in the first half also killed UK. So if one will complain about the missed FT's can another complain about all the missed shots that allowed UL to go up 18-5?

Debating with you is pointless. As usual.

Congrats to your team. Greatest team ever.

Nah. Just tonight.

UK was missing shots because they kept jacking up ridiculous threes. Not the same as free throws.

First half shot selection was atrocious.

You're right. Lousville always shoots lights out at the line. The refs clearly cheated too. Louisville is only capable of losing if they give the game away.

Absolutely no credit to UK. They didn't have to make a big come back. They didn't make any plays down the stretch. Louisville just didn't play well. Poor Cardinals.

On TBS can't believe Doug Gottlieb picked UK to beat Michigan!

.....and, I didn't think the Wichita State game could be topped. Unreal.

IMO it came nowhere near the Wichita State game. (Granted I say this having not watched the last 7:30, so that might have been nice to watch) The WSU/UK game were two teams that played great games against each other. Each team shot over 54%. It was a beautiful game with all the same drama.

This game manufactured drama but lacked the quality of basketball. The officials were dominant for a lot of the game. Neither team shot over 50%. Both teams shot under 30% from three. If you combined the total amount of threes from the two teams in this one, you get the amount UK hit alone against Wichita State. And WSU hit 10 of their own in that one.

On TBS can't believe Doug Gottlieb picked UK to eat Michigan!

That cannot be legal!

Interesting that all year people have complained about UK's free throw shooting yet tonight they won the game because of free throw shooting

Did anyone else hear Pitino's "end of and era" comments?
