March 29, 201412 yr Absolute meltdown by the Cards in the end; I feel like many others not knowing what happened. And this happened without Stein; this tournament has been something else. Congratulations to the Cats.
March 29, 201412 yr .....and, I didn't think the Wichita State game could be topped. Unreal. Once Young went out, I'll be honest...I thought that was it, and I'd put my optimism against any UK fan all year long to that point. These KIDS, for all those who have questioned their heart and other lame excuses have plenty of it.
March 29, 201412 yr Nope. UK won UK took the game from Louisville. If we have to give credit for the Cards making UK look bad in the 1st half, at least give the Cats credit for winning the game. 2 for 2 this year. 6 out of the last 7. UK is the better basketball team this year. Cards are lucky WCS didn't play. How many free throws did Louisville miss? How much did they lose by?
March 29, 201412 yr Author NCF is going to go broke buying new TV's and computers if Kentucky keeps winning. Where's he at on here?
March 29, 201412 yr Yep but I would feel the same way if i was a UL fan It was a game that was really ugly at times and other times was like watching a track meet. That back and forth right after halftime of fast break after fast break was nuts! Bad officiating but that seemed to go both ways after I thought UK was getting a lot of calls against them late in 1st half and UL getting away with some stuff. Then the refs called them on some bad calls too. FT shooting was UL downfall. UK making their comeback only to let UL go back up by 6 right away is when I thought it was over. Then UK came back again and from there it was game on. Great Game. I thought it was even better than the WS game because of the continuous coming back.
March 29, 201412 yr If I'm a Louisville fan (which I'm not) I want Hancock taking that 3 that Smith took at the end of the game. Smith rushed it and had been bricking the one's he took earlier in the game while Hancock was making his I'm happy with the way it came out!!! Whoot Whoot....Lexington is liable to get burnt down tonight (Let's hope not) I was hoping that Hancock wouldn't take it, he was clutch last year in the tourney and also tonight.
March 29, 201412 yr Fun game. Ugly for most of the 40 minutes, but a lot of fun. Russ couldn't deliver late and the twins did. Just how everyone figured it would play out... :lol2: Us UK fans never doubted the twins this year... Edited March 29, 201412 yr by hoops5 Quote brackets
March 29, 201412 yr How many free throws did Louisville miss? How much did they lose by? How often do teams shoot perfect from the line? If Louisville shoots their season average they still lose by 3. Missed FTs are a part of the game, especially in the tournament and in domes. IF WCS plays UK wins going away. Two can play at that game. This game was ugly, and the better, hungrier team won.
March 29, 201412 yr Without DK, AP plays don't matter. DK had huge game and no one expected that. That kid hit 3 or 4 huge shots down the stretch including Fts.
March 29, 201412 yr These two teams have only made this rivalry even stronger. Last 3 times these two schools were in the big dance, they faced eachother in huge games. The only time that both teams weren't in the NCAA Tourney the last 5 years UL won it all last year. UK gets back to the dance and stops UL from repeating. I love this rivalry!
March 29, 201412 yr Would like to know what UL fans thought of the still and pop 3 by Russ there late in the game. Seemed very rushed to me. It was; they definitely could have done something else even without a timeout. Either way, couldn't have seen them making it in overtime without Harrell and Van Treese.

Debating with you is pointless. As usual. Congrats to your team. Greatest team ever.
