Last Game for Coach Ruthsatz?

It's certainly how I interpreted the above-referenced string of posts. If I misinterpreted it, my apologies. I'm more than willing to hear your clarification.

To clarify,,,,,,Was the previous coach still enrolling his kids at CCH when he was dismissed,,,,,

Nope. And his younger son was probably graduated 8 years from Cov Cath when they first made him the head basketball coach. Coach L's sons and their successes on the Cov Cath basketball team had zero to do with him getting or giving up the head coaching position at Cov Cath.

To clarify' date=',,,,,Was the previous coach still enrolling his kids at CCH when he was dismissed,,,,,[/quote'] No.

Andy Listerman graduated in 1994.

Kevin Listerman graduated in 1995.

Mike Listerman didn't become the head coach of Covington Catholic until 2000.

Word out of Park Hills is Scott is staying.

Word from my kid who is friends with Nick...They are staying.

I hope that this is correct.

Scott R, Tony B., Joe F, Otte, Stevens, Sorrell, Elliott are one of, if not the best in the state.

Adding Joe F to the staff this year took it over the top.

What they have accomplished in 3 years is incredible, to say the least.

This may mean something or not.

But Coach R just completed a major remodel on a house he brought about 18 months ago according to some neighbors I know.

That being said he could say he leaving would not be a total shock

He and the Colonels will be in Frankfort today to be recognized by the Kentucky Legislature for their accomplishment of winning the state championship.

Formal rally at CovCath on Friday at 1pm.

Well, I guess that means Coach Cal won*t be coming to Park Hills......

Not to Coach the Colonels, at least.

Would still love to hear your clarification, Danny.

I like having Scott in NKY. It adds to the rivalries and bringing home the title has got to make for sleepless nights at Holmes and New Cath (along with the rest of the 9th region teams).

Nick led to more sleepless nights for the 9th Region than his dad.

Undersized point guard from northern Kentucky….commits to play at one school, plays lights out at the state tournament and then gets recruited to play for another. It worked out pretty well for Dickie and for the CATS. Could history repeat itself??

Nope,,,,After giving his word to one school, he would*nt pull out now, would that really be the right thing to do. It*s hard to believe you would even have those thoughts.......
