Think my Raiders at Ryle will be improved under a new system but it will all depend on QB development. I feel like Engler will run in to the same problems Griffith ran in to at Boone his first year in no QBs being matured or even coached for that matter. Also think Boone will have a much better year.

Underclassmen have been overshadowed since they were freshman by the departing senior class. Few people outside of HHS knows anything about the HHS incoming players, hence "unknown talent". I was looking at it from an outsiders point of view who might lean towards listing CCH as number 1.

 

Not real sure I agree with this assessment. How about Abner, Urlage, Feggins, Hoge, Weyer, Pangallo, Gall just to name a few. All of these guys have gotten significant minutes their first 2 years.

Good breakdown- I would add:

- Bir, Wagner, Burchell, Nelms, Stewart and Braun missed a LOT of last season due to injuries- Dressman was out for the playoffs and Zumdick got hurt in playoff game #1. Lots of guys came in, stepped up and got great experience during that time- and went on to improve the previous years W/L record in the process.

- at DL, add Foertsch (sp?) He's a big boy - also a whale of a punter. Thorson is a fire plug.

- at DB, current Jr. Kathman will probably fill the void- he was great in JV. Caleb Summe should do well there after being moved from RB late in the year. I can see a couple underclassmen filling those roles too- Wilson, Caldon & Marshall.

- at OL you can add Roth, Reisiger, Baute and Shulte to the depth chart

- at WR you can add Summe and Angel

- at LB add Sammons, Edgington, Shelton and Thiel perhaps.

It's pretty clear UK #1 FAN, that you have a son, and or nephew who plays for SK, guessing a son. I think SK will be really good, but Kuntz isn't this teams QB this season, and they grad. other very good players, remember this is JMO, and I do think SK is a top 5 team in NKY, just not a top 2 or 3, that's all. I DON'T have a dog in the fight, again JMO. Good luck to SK, hope they do well.

Otherwise your rankings look just like how the teams finished with no thought as to who lost what or has what returning. It is a stupid statement that is repeated on BGP over and over and over.

 

2. SK might have won the 6A district in NKY (I can also confidently crown them 2A champs in NKY, but your definition of dominate and mine are really really different.

Maybe we should assign points based on the 'quality' of the opponent you beat. 6 pts for a 6A win, 5 pts for a 5 A win, etc. 5 bonus points for playoff wins.

SK has dominated NKY 6A? They finished 5th in 2011, 3rd in 2012 and 1st in 2013. That is not domination.
