There's not a clear/definite #1 this year, I think you see a lot a parity with few blowouts. Campbell wins 6a, Cooper 5a, Cov Cath finally gets past Highlands. NCC and Beechwood beat some of the larger schools on their schedules. Would they (NCC and Beechwood) beat them on a regular basis..... probably not, but there is so much talk about the other schools they're going to get overlooked.

You lost a coach who was replaced by someone that has been in the program for what 19 years, how much can really change? Did Highlands really lose there best player? Jensen Feggins was certainly a nice player, but not sure I would call him the best. Hasn't CCH had kids in the pipeline for the last several years? These kids in the pipeline have not won a frosh game until last year for something like 10 years and I believe it has been 10 or so games at the varsity level. Guess it could be looked at as they are due to break through at some point.

Agree with 5star. Maybe best receiver but not best player IMO. Definitely not biggest impact player. Not this years team anyway. He will be missed for sure. Heck to have Venamann and Weyer, and add in Feggins, wow, but I'm guessing with the offense that will be ran this year, the boys at Highlands this year will be just fine.

Again, I was explaining how those looking in at HHS could think that this could be the year CCH gets the Birds. The great majority see us losing our best player.

 

I also think we will be fine.
