Gas Prices

I saw that Crude prices for July or August deliveries went up, I guess they makes the gas already refined more expensive.

When you know you have to pay more for your next shipment of product, you've got to charge more now or you'll never get out from under that pattern of paying more for inventory than you need to be bringing in.

I understand that...maybe Venezuela has the right idea after all...

And for the same reason prices should drop more than they do when crude goes down, but they don't drop until new cheaper gas is delivered.

Saw gas as low as 3.55 on my trip back east in eastern ohio, and just got gas for 3.47 at SAMs Club in Dover, De.

3.89 in Lexington, 3.69 five miles down the road into Nicholasville.

3.57 in Hardinsburg.

A friend on Facebook just posted a picture of pump in Gatlinburg... $2.99

I was in Gat 2 weeks ago and it was 3.15, I could see it at 2.99 now. I leave for Panama City tonight, can't wait to get out of Ohio to buy gas.

So why are the prices in NKY/SWOH so freaking high?

Apparently it's a money zone. In the south it's always cheaper.

Was $3.76 in Maysville.

$3.57 today here which is amazing because for the last 10 to 15 years Somerset has had near the highest prices in the state
