What if they stayed at Cov Holy Cross?

Walton Verona would be the odds on favorite to win the 8th region. They would have the 2 Mcneils (Cooper), 2 Moeves (NCC), 2 Mcubbins (Gallatin), Burns (Bishop Brossart), and Daughtery (Simon Kenton).

Not to mention the decent talent that they already have there.

Adding Fuel To The Fire is sort of your middle name, isn't it? Although that is a long middle name and I bet your monogrammed shirts are funny looking. :bunny:

Same could be said about yours, as well, pot meet kettle. :lol2:

I am not adding fuel to the fire,,But speaking of HC, where did the Campbell boy come from....?

Heavens, you did not just use that term after a young African-American man's name. Please consider the larger context.

I cringed a little too when I read it... not cool (sigh)

I hear where you're coming from but I tend to think the vast majority of people use that term today generically. To me it's only an issue if it's used by itself ie "Hey, boy...."

You are kidding right? I counted no less than 6 times the word "boy" was used after a "kids" name in this thread I mean c'mon a bit of a stretch isn't it?

What a shame!

Trust me I use to play the what if game all the time for my Alma Mater wondering how things would be different if all kids who grew up in Ludlow attended Ludlow for high school.

Since we are playing the "what if" game, here is the scariest thought of them ALL. Add Brandon Hatton in a Holmes Bulldog uniform to go along with all of the Bulldog teams over the last 6-7 years and I would venture to say NKY would have at least 2-3, if not more, State Championships. Just sayin...

Think of this top 6 this year:

Bolden

McClendon

Avery

Hatton

Chames

Hill

By far the best what if is the following in 07 at Holmes:

Mike Hester

Duran Jefferson

Austin Hill

Nate Edmondson

Ryan Luster

Greg Rice

Arrez Henderson

Had that Tar Heels team stayed together...multiple state championships, IMO

If "if's and buts" were candy and nuts we'd all have a wonderful Christmas

Silly topic.

Maybe it's just the "foghorn leghorn" effect. Everybody's a "boy".

Great reference! Foghorn Leghorn was a classic Warner Brothers cartoon character: a large -- maybe human-sized -- rooster with a distinct drawl and a sarcastic delivery. And yes, the character did start every other sentence with, "I say, boy...." Keep in mind that he was typically addressing other talking animals.

It's not every day one can use Foghorn-Leghorn in a sentence. Boy, I say boy.....today is a good day!!!!
