February 4, 201412 yr Call it a hunch folks, we're in for a knock down drag out with Mother Nature this evening. I've never seen a storm hit the way this one has. Snow, wind, and here's the rub. The freezing rain and sleet will take this off the charts. Buckle up from Louisville to Cincinnati. I'm hoping and praying this stays all snow. It is snowing sideways in NKY!

February 5, 201412 yr Road conditions are pretty bad around Owensboro right now, and it is still coming down. One of my co-workers lives in Evansville and was off today. He's been emailing me because he's supposed to be back at work tomorrow, and from Owensboro all the way to the resort, there's probably not going to be any way he makes it in. Unfortunately, he doesn't have the same kind of job I do, that can be done from anywhere that has an internet connection. As of about 15 minutes ago, we'd managed to get 65 employess in to stay the night.

February 5, 201412 yr Got in the WalMart doors at 6:10; a gentle pattering of rain. Left at 6:40 with sleet covering the ground. Traffic at 30MPH down the AA Highway.
