February 5, 201412 yr The roads in NKY were in pretty solid shape this morning. Doesn't appear as if we've had anything in terms of precipitation all day either. Hardly anyone out on the roads so that helped a lot.

February 5, 201412 yr Thoughts and a shaking my head for spindocs willow. Time to reflect on the many great years you all had together. Willows are great trees I've enjoyed casting many a line under while pond fishing in the spring and summer. I like the colonels angle on the insurance angle. You may have something there based on your deductible. Took my son and I an hour to dig two cars out of side streets this afternoon. Hope to track down our city plow guy and entice him with a twelve pack to keep that blade on less of an angle this next round. Anyone parked on the right side gets to enjoy double the fun on the height of the snow bank to dig out from vs the left side. I got dibbs on the left side this weekend.

February 5, 201412 yr We lost a birch tree and a pine tree from the ice. The birch is hanging over the electric lines coming to our house.
February 6, 201412 yr I just de-iced the truck and drove it out of its frozen hole. It made no indentation on the 2.5 inches of ice in my driveway.
February 6, 201412 yr Boone county closed again I believe they're at a June 5 end of school year now, along with Campbell and Kenton.

February 6, 201412 yr Fayette out again tomorrow. Lexington area streets are glazed over and very light snow has covered the cleared areas over the last few hours.
