Weeping doesn't begin to tell his tale ....on rare occasion you can get a small break on your home insurance policy for removing willow trees located close to your house. Any chance it was within 15 or 20 feet of your foundation?

February 5, 201412 yr Yep. About 15 feet-ish Well....wouldn't hurt to call your insurance agent. They generally don't like seeing willow trees close to foundations because they're so water-loving that their roots can actually remove enough moisture from the ground around them in the summer that they cause the dirt to dry out and shrink...and if that shrinking happens close enough to a foundation, the foundations can crack when the dirt withdraws.

February 5, 201412 yr At last! The danger has been lifted to a level one!! So that means we can all hit the streets with caution. Does anyone really not drive just because it is a level two?

February 5, 201412 yr The roads in NKY were in pretty solid shape this morning. Doesn't appear as if we've had anything in terms of precipitation all day either.
