Clyde
I talked to Luke's dad Rich this morning. Said it was a mob scene in the Durham lockerroom when Luke found out. Family is hitting the road for Baltimore and NYC. Luke has been added to the 40-man roster as well. I thought he might have to wait until Durham's season ended but they decided to pull him up immediately. Very exciting for Luke and the family. Clyde
I checked and Luke is NOT the first CCH alum to play in the Majors. Dan Neville '59 played for the Reds.
Colonels_Wear_Blue
I checked and Luke is NOT the first CCH alum to play in the Majors. Dan Neville '59 played for the Reds. They ran a story on Neville in the RiverCityNews a while back. I went to Google it, and then came across this piece as well: Dan Neville - The Man Who Got Close To His Dream But Couldn't Touch It
