I listened to a conversation about this. I have missed too many games to make a good assessment but hear is what they said.. They made the comment only Randle is a lock to be ready. The said the twins are not a lock but as the season progresses, their pro stock is getting better. Many others are in limbo. Take it for what it is worth, I really cannot comment.

Randle, Young, WCS, maybe Poythress and maybe twins if they all continue to improve as the year progresses. I think twins and Poythress have already made strides this season and will continue to get better.

Randle & Willie are locks to leave.

Young is very likely to leave.

Harrisons would probably stay if the decision had to be made today.

Poythress stays.

I think that is probably a best case scenario for Cat Fans! Hope your correct!

If Poythress continues I think he could test the waters to leave. He has to tools and the "potential" and the NBA drafts more on potential than anything.

I think the Bold are your locks but also think the Harrisons could be included in that as well.

I've pretty much thought it a foregone conclusion that the Harrisons would leave until about two weeks ago. A lot of the mock draft guys (like Chad Ford) have already come out & said they need to stay. One of the most recent projections has Andrew going 30th & Aaron not even listed.

A lot of it comes down to if they're having any fun though. If they're miserable but could leave and make 6 figures and not hate life then it's a no brainer. I dunno how much fun they're having though just a thought.

Randle and Young are the only two locks IMO.

Randle is good enough.

Young seems like the kind of kid who wants to play in the NBA now. That's not a bad thing, he seems like a good guy and a great teammate. I just feel that if he's projected anywhere in the first round, he goes.

The Twins will need a strong finish and a decent tournament run or they return unless they are miserable at UK. Don't they come from a family in decent financial shape ? Not having to support your parents can go a long way in the decision to enter the draft.

WCS has been so up and down this season. Incredible one game, MIA the next. He returned for his sophomore year, might be back for his junior as well. I feel like Poythress is in the same boat.

I'm feel almost exactly the same, but I'd probably move Young up to a lock. Only thing that keeps him would be his desire to win a National Championship (if they don't this year and if he has one). And I say that because apparently he was a huge UK fan growing up.

We also lose Hood and Polson. Those are the only two seniors, right?

Locks: Randle, WCS.

Very close to a lock: James Young - He'll probably be gone, but I won't be shocked if he returns at all.

Possible returnees: Twins, Poythress

Definite/Very likely returnees: Dakari Johnson, Marcus Lee (due to his lack of PT, I don't know why I even classified him in this, he's clearly a multi-year project).

I will say Poythress' stock is probably the one's who can only rise at this point. If he plays like he did against Arkansas, I wouldn't be surprised if ended up as a 1st round pick. For the Twins it's going to be a collective decision. I HIGHLY doubt one will enter and one stays. So basically if Aaron's stock is lower than Andrew's and there's a possibility Aaron goes undrafted or really low, then they stay.

Calipari goes Pro.

Calipari goes Pro.

I think this is plausible.
