Dinner: what did you have?

My potato salad has eggs (6g protein each) and bacon (3g protein per slice), and potatoes (4.3g per each medium potato). So say a cup of potato salad has 1 egg, 1 piece strip of bacon and 1 potato in it, then you're talking roughly 13.3 grams of protein. An average adult male is supposed to get about 56 grams of protein daily...so call that 23.75% of your daily required protein.

Wasnt sure if eggs were in it. Some don't have eggs or bacon. Is it mayo based?

You're right, not all of them have eggs or bacon...but mine sure does :lol2:

I'm pretty sure mayo usually (or always?) has eggs in it, yeah....but I pulled the mayo out of my fridge (Kraft Mayo with Olive Oil), and it said 0g of protein per tablespoon. I was a bit surprised of that myself.

CWB beat me to it, but yes, a good potato salad has plenty of eggs in it. We don't use bacon in ours, but I may give it a shot. It has a mayo base, we also add quite a bit of mustard to ours, much more flavor that way. It truely is a good source for protein, even if just eating it as a snack.

Picked up some shrimp today. Grilled them with cajun seasoning and put them over pasta with broccoli and parmesan cheese. Girlfriend had alfredo sauce too, but I stayed away.

Low Country Boil w/ snow crab, shrimp, andouille sausage, corn on the cob, red potatoes, and garlic bulbs.

That's one of the best dinners there is. I was gifted a large fryer/boiler for Christmas from a friend. The first thing we cooked in it was a low country boil.

Had wings at BW3, with w michelob ultras.

Pork chops, baked sweet potato, roasted cauliflower with sea salt pepper, garlic and Parmesan cheese. Sautéed mushrooms. I'd love to say Mrs. TAC outdid herself but pretty much the norm. No wonder I'm so fat.

Fried Pork Tenderloin, cooked cabbage, black bean salad. Homemade strawberry pie.

Thawed out some deer chili from the freezer yesterday and had it last night.

Was in a breakfast mood so fried up a couple eggs, with some toast, OJ, and a few slices of bacon.

I'm thinking if tis rain clears off my deck I may be able to bring the grill inside so I can get back to a little grilling. Don't think I have gone this long without torching something on the grill!

Going to try and find a local watering hole here in lovely Wisconsin to catch the UK game.
