I have hit the gym three times this week, and will hit it again on Saturday.Saturday also starts the new Cardio Workout, which be much like the last one, my brother and I did.

The calories have been under everyday this week but, I know the weight has gone up even more because there is pants that I work last week, that I cannot fit into today.

Been a really good week for me. I've hit the gym 7 days in a row. Today will be my first one off, but I'll be able to make it both days this weekend.

#1 rule about living the Crossfit lifestyle: You can never stop talking about Crossfit.

#1b rule about living the Crossfit lifestyle: Even if you've talked about it for months and none of your friends have decided to pay the money to join, you can still not stop talking about Crossfit.

I'm to the point that I just don't want to do it because I'm so tired of hearing about it haha! Don't tell our mutual friend.

That's the cult mentality that turns many away from Crossfit. You have those that get ate up w/ it just like UK basketball and OSU Football.

It's no different then anything else. You will always have a group that becomes obsessed and goes over board. It unfairly gives the whole group a bad name. MJ's post describes such a small percentage of the people I know that do CrossFit yet that's what the label is. Could also be that my gym didn't get the official CrossFit rule book to hand out to it's members.

Congrats to everyone making progress on their goals!

Whether it's losing weight, getting fit, training for another Ironman, getting ready for a mini or a marathon, doing crossfit, lifting weights----keep on working!

And post it up here. You'd be surprised how your posts are motivating others.

Vocal minority. Most of those are the ones that do CrossFit for about 4 mos and are a meathead and hurt themselves b/c they don't listen to their bodies (ego) or those that were never part of anything big athletically before Crossfit. I know 3 people who made the Regional level. None of them were Firebreathers.

Overhead squat PR tonight @ 115lbs for 2.

3 days completed of the new cardio workout, have not missed the gym and the calories are way down.

The weight is the highest it has been in a long time.

Discouraged but not giving up.

Great Monday start of the week:

Plyometric cardio circuit in the morning.

Max cardio conditioning in the evening.

Should be able to make the gym 4 out of 5 nights this week, with my weigh in on Saturday morning.

Discouraged but not giving up.

That's the spirit!

Took the day off of work today and hit the gym. Decided to make today my official weigh-in instead of tomorrow (I do it just about every two weeks).

Down another 6 lbs. totaling 22 lbs. so far. This is where it's going to start getting tough!

Week two has started with the new cardio program we are doing.

As with last time, I have not been missing the gym nor have I been over in my calorie intake, but the wight continues to go up. I know this because there are several pair of pants I was wearing that I can no longer fit into.

This stinks. I am ready to hit the fast food places all week and say this is not worth all of the effort, but I know I am hard headed enough to keep fighting the fight.
