Been a bit since I have posted on this topic.

I bttled a stomach virus that sucked the energy out of me for a little over three weeks.

I took last week off from the gym, but still did the cardio workouts at home.

I got to go back to the gym yesterday and though the energy level and strength was lacking it felt great to get back in there.

I hope each and everyone of you continue with your success.

Did the virus turn your letters purple?

My treadmill of 10 years bit the dust 1 1/2 weeks ago. I am putting together its replacement tonight so I am excited. I have substituted eliptical for running (I mean jogging!) altogether for the last 1 1/2 weeks except for an outdoor run (jog!) Saturday. I run (jog!) at 5AM and I am a lot more consistent on the treadmill at that time of day than counting on running (jogging!) outside.

Just did my first bike ride of the season. 18 brutal windy miles. Biking sucks.

The new treadmill is up and running (pun intended). First time on it this morning. It seems a little faster than my old one, or I slowed down. 3 miles logged, but it wasn't easy today.

Weighed myself yesterday and I'm now down 27 lbs. I had a goal of losing 20 by Opening Day, so I'm very happy with my results. I'd like to lose anywhere between another 3-8 lbs but once the Reds season starts up, I'm not going to focus on the workout aspect as hard because vending beer for 3.5 hours at the stadium is enough of a workout in itself.

Still going to keep eating better though.

Going to give the 3rd open workout a go this afternoon. The second workout definitely hit one of my big weaknesses with over head squats. My goal is to finish in the top half in my gym and was right where I wanted to be after the first workout. I struggled with the second and now in the bottom half. Hopefully can make up some ground with this weeks.

As a side goal I would like to be in the top 3rd in the world and my region. Again I was right there after week 1 sitting at around 33,000 out of 110,000 and a little out of the top 3rd in my region. Now I'm right in the middle.

This weeks workout is an AMRAP of deadlifts and box jumps/step ups.

A chick I run with (and owner of a CF gym) is currently 2nd in the region on the latest WOD. Exactly how big are the regions?

Central East is Michigan, Indiana, KY, Ohio, and Tennessee. There were 4920 women that registered and a little over 3800 that submitted scores for the first 2 WOD's. What is your friend's name?

Here's a map of the North American regions.

Nice...thanks for the info. Is there a site to see scores?

PM coming with name.

Awesome. Thanks!

Nothing special. Just an easy 21 mile run scheduled for tomorrow.
