Florida State 34 Auburn 31

That was a very well designed last play of the game. I don't know if he could of broke it but a little bit better of a job on it and they would at least given him a chance.

It was well designed. Normally it is just guys throwing around the ball but that as well organized of a desperation play as you will find. I have theorized before that you could have a devastating offense if you have set plays which lateraled cross field or at least in a more organized fashion. It would inhibit defenders all converging to one place.

The "best night of my life" made me smile. My youngest son was a frosh at UK when they won it two years ago. He said the exact same thing.

Glad your niece got to experience that.

I'm glad she's taking the time to experience all of college life. I was afraid she'd get up there and bury herself in her work.

The reason I said 1st year, in the previous post, is that she is not classified as freshman, though she is starting only her 2nd semester of college. With all of her AP credits, I think she only needed 3 hours, last fall, to be classified a sophomore. The kid is scary smart. Made the dean's list 1st semester, too. Got none of it from here uncle. :D

She's definitely proud to be a Nole.

Florida State was not as good as I thought they were, but they were still the best team in the country & Jameis the best player IMO.

As others have said, congrats to DragonFire & Godzilla. Two great guys who make BGP a great place.

Texting with my niece (Kaylee Bug), a 1st year student at FSU, last night...

8:34 Me: What's it like up there, bug?

8:35 Bug: Cold and tense. One of my roommates is an Auburn fan from birth.

8:36 Me: Poor thing.

8:38 Bug: At my friends place watching the game and she smuggled in Auburn earrings.

10:25 Me: She must be flipping her hair back now.

10:44 Bug: We're going to kick her out of the room.

11:22 Bug: We're coming back!!!

11:38 Bug: Uncle Mickey, did you see that???? We lead!!!!

11:39 Me Yes, ma'am. Lot of time left, though.

11:40 Bug: Doomsdayer. :(

11:50 Bug: OH CRAAAAAAPPPPPP!

12:00 Bug: We're going to win!!!!

12:10 Bug: WE WON!!!! This place is going crazy!!

12:28 Me: What's it like up there now?

12:59 Bug: INSANE! BEST NIGHT OF MY LIFE! GO NOLES!!

Haha love the exchange!

Plug 4 cut back towards the defense instead of following the convoy up the sidelines...

Saw where AJ McCarron's mom apparently tweeted out last night asking if Jameis Winston was speaking English in his postgame interview. :lol2: Can't make this stuff up.

Funny what happens when the SEC finally plays somebody! FSUthe champs!

Finally plays somebody ? Please explain...

I don't know why anyone even bothers engaging him. It's nothing more than a waste of your time and brain power.

I don't visit these forums often, so I wasn't aware.

One of those kid things. Thought they were cool when I first saw them and it stuck. First game I remember watching was in Mazzio's Pizza after a soccer game and I've never looked back.

I always liked Bobby B and remember the wars with Miami and Florida.

Is this the interview people are referring to?

What was the issue?

I don't see what the hubbub is. I think people overlook that these are 18-21 year old guys with cameras in their face that they know are being piped to millions of people. And they do pretty darn well. I'd say if you sat in on a college speech class you'd see how low the average nervous student can set the bar.

I understood everything he said. Of course, I'm black.

I think it is kinda ironic that one of the main things that led to Auburn losing was a kickoff return.

...and the guy who returned that kick (Davis #11) was the goat of the game with the way he almost single handedly saved Winston's rep with the way he played D on that last drive.

They were ready for the fake, just not the reverse.

I disagree. Watch it again. The end on that side was positioned perfectly. He didn't do his one job on that play - contain.
