January 7, 201412 yr What a fun game to watch. A few thoughts: 1. I watched the ESPN News broadcast that had Sumlin, Spielman, and other coaches. Almost every coach called the fake punt before it happened. 2. When FSU went up 26-24 after the kickoff return Matt Millen wondered if they would go for two. I'm sure Detroit Lions fans got a chuckle out of that. 3. Jameis is obviously a talented kid and had a great drive (aided by Davis having a really rough series). I'll still take Johnny Manziel in a college game. 4. FSU run D in the 2nd half won the game for FSU.

My youngest son was a frosh at UK when they won it two years ago. He said the exact same thing. Glad your niece got to experience that.

They did have a decent wall, but I also don't know what it looked like beyond about 15 yards from where he got tackled. I think it was Joyner for FSU that was the key on that play. They had the wall, but he blazed through it into Mason's path and turned him back inside. Once that happened, it was over.

That was a very well designed last play of the game. I don't know if he could of broke it but a little bit better of a job on it and they would at least given him a chance.
