Any word if Randles injury is serious?

That's my biggest concern at this point.

I heard when he was stumbling it wasn't from cramps, he had a Contact High from Chane leaning on him.

High above the waste or high below the waste?

Cards will probably get better as the season goes on; lots to work on though. When playing good teams, Blackshear, Behanan, and Harrell needs A LOT of improvement.

Poythress showed up in critical points of the game and I thought played well. Hope Randall is ok.. I had UK 72-65, almost nailed it. I'm playing lottery as my picks have been good of late.

I am not on the Harrison Twins played well today bandwagon. I thought they were uneven at best today.

Andrew shot 6-16, 6-12 from the line. Missed his only three attempt and had only two assists with three turnovers. Aaron shot 5-12 and was 0-3 from 3. 4 turnovers and 1 assist AND NO FREE THROWS.

That's a combined 11-28 with 3 assists and 7 turnovers from the guys that should initiate the offense. They were bad on defense and they don't seem to consistently play with all out effort, IMO. I want them to be more consistent and develop an identity of some sort- be a playmaker, be a lock down defender; give this team something to rely on night in and night out. Find a role for each twin, accept it and embrace it, IMO.

Great win for the Cats and with Julius not playing the second half makes the win that much better. Thought all the players stepped up today and played their role. This team will only get better with all the practice time they have the next 10 days. I said it before , be patient, this team is going to be something special before the season is over. Enjoy the journey Cats Fans!!!

Young's 18 & 10 was strong. Cauley-Stein only had two points but ten boards and did a great job of getting in the way of Louisville down low. He has so much potential it isn't even funny.

I agree. Young actually passed the ball today. I think he is the best pure shooter on the team. If he can continue his passing ways and become at least average on defense, then watch out. This win is more important to UK than it would have been to UL.

I am thrilled to say the least at the Cats showing today. This imo is the best basketball that has been played for all 40 minutes in the last two seasons. Randle is a beast, his play in the first half spoke for itself. U.L. has 0 answers on the inside game...nothing. When Randle went out in the 2nd half I thought the huge advantage on the boards would even out more and then Young stepped up to pick up on the rebounding. Complete game by U.K., no other way to say it. To think that Randle, after being unstoppable in the 1st half and not score in the 2nd half with others picking up the slack was extremely encouraging. U.K. defense was also very good, I thought the passing was much better as well.

I think that the question of if having the added practice time during the Christmas break helping has been answered a very loud yes - and there is still another week of it to go :thumb:! One of the very few things that I have to complain about is one of the same ol', same ol' -- FT shooting. At one time late in the game it was at 13-22, that's not good enough.

Now there is until Jan. 8th until SEC play, the Miss. St. game. That is another two weeks to get back to the practice floor, work and improve further. I feel good about saying that with the way this team played today that there will still be improvement. And....Please no one start the 37-3 chants :stop::lol2:.

GO BIG BLUE !! THE Team of the Commonwealth !

They gave him 3 bags of IV during the second half according to Cal in his post game interview. He told the Dr to "hurry up" squeeze the bag to get the fluids in....:lol2:

UL's coach didn't even do a post game press conference after the game. Keep doing you Rick, don't ever change

Great to see 22 busting his hump and being aggressive.

Coach Cal said he does this all the time in practice, glad he had a great game. I am just enjoying this win.

One UL player said UK's siZe isn't what beat them it was UK heart. Said they played with a lot of heart and went after every loose ball.

And UL's coach said the crowd affected the refs more than his team... What a sore loser

Good, I like how he also opted to do his post game presser outside of the locker room rather than in UK's press area....
