Kim Jong Un Executes His Own Uncle

Oops.

Has there ever been any attempt at revolution or as this guy, his father and grandfather had such a tight grip on the country, none could happen?

The way the country is set up I don't think a serious opposition movement is possible.

It would be tough, maybe somewhat similar to how Hilter had the Gestapo kept everyone in check in Nazi Germany to prevent large scale rise ups. Small assassination attempts are all that was possible.

The control the North Korea has is on an entirely different level than Nazi Germany.

For a moment, I read this as Kim Jong un executes his own uncle, as in brings him back from the dead. Was reeeeeally confused for a moment.

Also killed an ex girlfriend or ex fiance or something like that last year. Not the dude you want to get close to.
That's one way to get the ring back.

Kim has something far better than absolute control. He has the illusion of absolute control and absolute loyalty. Everyone believes that uttering even one word of dissatisfaction to the wrong person means death.

Like I said, big forehead, easy target.

Ruff way to die.

My question is, in the 21st freaking century, what crazy son-of-a keeps a pack of starving dogs handy to feed their enemies to? That sounds more like something out of Beowulf.

I was thinking an alternative method for Vlad the Impaler but Beowulf sounds good also.

Maybe Michael Vick should make the next high profile visit to NK.

Sounds like China is even thinking about walking away from this nut. China is their sole ally and crucial to their economy. As cruel as China can be to political dissidents, I think even they draw the line at this.
