Final

Total domination from the getgo. I'd say several more games will be like this as well.

Congrats to Mayfield.

I truly believe it could have been 70-0 had they wanted it to be, but, Coach Morris isn't ever going to do that. Mayfield's DL was fantastic all day. The Cards QB, Jake Guhy had a fantastic game, as well.

Congrats to Mayfield and all you Mayfield fans on BGP!!! :thumb:

Congratulations to Mayfield and their fans.

Congratulations to the Cardinals. It has been one heck of a run the past 5 years. They have set the standard high for anyone in 1A who wants to get that title away from them.

Great job, Mayfield! Great record for this senior class...57-3 for their 4 year career playing in the red and black...3 state championships...awesome.

Very impressive career for those young men. :thumb:

I've said this for the past several weeks. This is the most overachieving Mayfield team I've seen. They didn't have the great breakaway RB, didn't have the speed or size of some of the past teams, but, all they did was line up week in and week out and beat the heck out of teams, against probably the toughest schedule they've played in the last 5 years. Only 5 of Mayfield's 15 opponents weren't ranked at the time they played them and 1 of those(5a Graves Co) ended up being ranked later in the year. Tremendous season for the Cards and a great day to be a Cardinal fan.

Hats off to Mayfield today. Very good football team. Congrats to the Cards on a wonderful year!

Has to be the winningest class in history.

More so than the '76 to '78 Class? (number of wins I will give you but what about win %?)

Mayfield made an adjustment on defense after the Caldwell Co. game...everyone bought into it, and it produced a state championship playoff run that allowed just ONE touchdown scored against them, and that one was scored by...Caverna
