Just got home, took me 4 1/2 hours! I thank God for a safe trip. Great day to be a Cardinal! Been an awesome 5 year run! So many players stood out today I'm not even going to start calling names, but I will say the line on both sides of the ball was DOMINATING. Congrats to Williamsburg on a great year!

Was fun getting to hang out with the Mack Daddy of BGP, THE GURU, always good to get to see him as it means that my Cards are in the promise land

Mayfield was a machine all season. They played a very tough schedule and I would give them an A for their performance during their regular season. Then in the post season they really turned it on, the 1st team defense just gave up 1 touchdown in the playoff run, I give them an A+ for this accomplishment. They played lights out in the State Title game and never let Williamsbugh even have a sniff of a chance to think they might win this game. The Senior class was a joy to watch, they will be missed.

AMEN snake, this bunch sure has been a pleasure. Great to be a Cardinal fan!

After watching the game in person and now a video of it a few things stand out. SPEED kills, to the man Mayfield was bigger faster and stronger. In the prediction thread I proclaimed that the Cards would likely win by 4 or 5 td's and a running clock was a strong possibility. Like I predicted, Mf was better at pretty much ever position, espically up front and at QB. For my thoughts I was blasted by HT721 and he nor Les have shown their faces. Maybe someone should go by a check on them. Besides the speed, Mayfield was vastly superior up front and Guhy at qb made it clear why he is the best in 1A and did so time and time again. Had Mf not be gracious and take their foot off the gas this thing could have been 70 to nothing.
