All these varying numbers tell me what I need to know. No one on here really knows the whole truth (and that's not a bad thing) and further all this stuff about Wirth applying then canceling the interview is more unsubstantiated baloney, but even if true - so what.

Bottom line - I think its great that Ryle is keeping the doors shut on this process. Every prospective coach should be able to gauge their market value from time and explore their options without repercussions. No different than what you or I are able to do in the business world. Heck- for what they make and have to put up with, they deserve all the privacy they can get!

Some really good points. I would think the decision is likely soon and I'll be happy for the new coach, and especially happy for Coach Woolf if he is selected since I've known Mike for so long.

No problem FTN. The good news is that I'm 99.4% certain that the decision has been made. The players and the rest of us will find out soon, hopefully Monday at the latest. A new era in Raider football will begin.

I left less than 1% of a limb to stand on. LOL! Having the coach announced will be great. The boys are working hard under Coach Woolf and weight-training staff guidance. I can't imagine the stress Mike is living under right now.
