I missed Snowden, Egypt and the Supreme Court Justice swing vote.

 

The only reason I got the Wall Street question right is because I noticed the huge valley in 2009.

I think overall we have a bright collection of individuals on BGP. It is crazy though to see how we ascertain our info and what makes our minds tick. For example, you'd have to be living under a rock to not of heard of Snowden, but I can see if the only viewing you had of him was through articles on the Internet, you may not know of what he looks like. Another was the Egypt question. I thought that was simplist question, but I love maps, and others get lost when they see a compass.

I went 12/13. I missed Google Glass, I am not very good at staying on top of the latest tech stuff.

 

I knew about Marissa Meyer just because the media has made so much about how Yahoo has been falling behind and how they made such a bold move hiring someone so young. I am guessing she is among the first CEO of a Fortune 500 to give birth LOL.

 

I got the 20% of women in congress just based upon times when the entire congress is seated for presidential speeches, from just looking at congress as the camera pans, I would have assumed about 20%

 

As far as the number of women graduating, I based that simply upon observing the numbers of guys and gals I saw while in college. Also, I think women are further along in maturity at college age than guys so I assumed more ladies actually graduated where more guys drank themselves out of school.

The age breakdown of Nigeria surprised me

The key to the pyramid was a huge number of young and a low number of old. So it had to be a less-developed country.

 

I was thinking Nigeria, but I've read more than one article talking about suicide rates in Japan and how a lot of the older generations would rather die than not be able to take care of themselves or shame their family with their well being becoming a burden. I went with the "smart pick" and way over thought it.
