No, even so this was the #10 ranked team in 5A... BG held them to 14, and I can presume BG also had "underclassmen" in as well for the second half.

 

 

When HHS scored twice in 4 plays to start the game, I was wondering if this was the same team that was tied 14 all with BG into the 2nd quarter. When it got to 41-7 ( and WC's only score was on a busted play - QB is a very nice athlete) I was thinking HHS was making a claim to unseat BG from the mythical #1 in the state position.

 

Then WC figured out how to use their speed and athleticism to attack the edge. From then on it was game on.

Probably not, but BG doesn't have 96 kids and their choice of kids from the entire NKY area.

Just saying in general, not a diss on Highlands; but just about every kid in the area has plan a: their nearby high school or plan b: Highlands. It's not a bad thing, it's actually a good thing Highlands has that prestige.

Even kids that went to Dixie, BW or other areas have transferred to NCC. It happens. For you to act like specific programs don't have that prestige for it is ridiculous. Come on.

Pregame on the score board. I know one player said they went to River Ridge Elementary that is in Kenton County.

Wrobleski was out and that was a HUGE loss. However for H fans to shrug this off is losing grip w reality. WC's offense seriously put pressure on OLBs and corners to contain. What I saw was soft corner after soft corner. OLBs were getting sucked into the dive action and mesh as were the safetys. That left the CBS one on one w their blocker and ball carrier. Other times they didn't take on traps and whoever pulled just moved onto another level and if you give those rbs a lead blocker at the second level it was good night. When you don't play assignment football against great athletes, you give up 6 TDs of over 60

Wrobleski is the best hybrid safety/linebacker I have seen all year... It really isn't even close.
