Much ado about nothing

 

Assuming none of the defensive injuries are anything more than nicks and bruises, Highlands will be fine.

I wasn't there and I am way neutral in this. It appears Highlands can pretty much score at will on anybody in Ky. However, they are very good defensively but not a shut down defense even with their starters. It sounds like WC found the edge and Highlands had no answer no matter who was available and on the field. I really thought that Highlands JV could beat most of the teams they play but it brings me back to speed and size differences between seniors and sophs. There are outlier sophs that can compete against anyone, but most cannot against decent teams. I can't believe Highlands coaches wanted it to get that close. The snowball started rolling and sometimes confdience rises and falls.

Like I stated in another thread though, I think Highland's main competition this postseason could be the Training Room and the Doctor's clipboard.
